From a Film to History

Life is often called a single film — joys and sorrows, meetings and farewells, climax and lingering notes. Yet a film, once its run ends, leaves the theater, and as time passes, even the plot fades.

What a Life Story Master does is turn that film into history. A Master visits the protagonist's home, holds three to ten conversations, and carefully transcribes the voice into a single book. Fading memory is condensed into ink, becoming a formal record of one person — readable by children, grandchildren, and the generations that follow.

An ISBN is issued. Copies are archived at the National Library of Korea. A paper book (POD) and an e-book (EPUB3) are both produced. If desired, an audiobook — in the protagonist's own voice — as well.

From a Picnic to a Journey

A Korean poet once called life "a beautiful picnic." A picnic is a brief outing; a journey, however, is a long passage — one that is recorded, savored, and opened again and again.

We live in an age when AI writes prose in our place. And yet stepping into a person's room, sitting before a warm cup of tea, meeting their eyes and listening to their story — this, no AI can do. The slight tremor at their fingertips, the brief silence, the sigh that escapes as they pass a photograph — such delicate texture can only be translated into a record by a human being.

The Life Story Master works with AI as a companion. Voices are auto-transcribed; drafts are AI-assisted. But choosing the right question, polishing each sentence, and settling the protagonist's heart onto the page — these remain the Master's own work. That is why, in the age of AI, this profession becomes all the more precious.

Not One Person — One Family's History

Not only a mother's story. A father's young years, a grandfather's business struggles, an uncle's days abroad — all converging into one family's history. This is the Family Memoir (DELUXE).

Who keeps such a record now? The era of brush-written genealogies is gone; what remains is the quiet burden of someone in the family having to remember. Now a Master takes that seat — so that, when a great-grandchild opens the book, it still breathes as a single volume.

A Sustainable Profession — Tuition as a Tool, Not an Expense

Tuition is ₩1,036,770 (approx. USD $700). This is both the education fee and the entry cost for receiving your Master certification and assigned district. Once you complete the 5-week curriculum and graduate, every inquiry that arrives in your district is automatically routed to you.

STANDARD case activity fee: ₩750,000 per assignment (3 visits, transportation separate). Two visits a week = ₩750,000/month; three visits (Mon·Wed·Fri) = ₩1,500,000/month in steady supplementary income. Combined with DELUXE (Family Memoir, +₩500K), PREMIUM (In-Depth Biography, +₩1M), and Memorial Flash (urgent 72-hour records), totals multiply accordingly.

Tuition is typically recovered within the first one or two cases. Everything thereafter is pure income. A Master holds one district for a lifetime, accumulating stories one precious voice at a time.

Each completed book becomes the Master's own portfolio — and a legacy.

Founding Master — A One-Time Chance

1st Class enrollment: 20 seats. These Masters are permanently recognized in WIA history as Founding Masters. From the 2nd Class onward the cohort will expand, but the title "1st Class Founding" belongs only to these 20.

Across 190 districts (25 Seoul gu + 165 Education Support District zones), only one Master is assigned per district. The district is yours, yours alone — no competition, no sharing. Two districts (Gyeonggi-Hanam, Incheon-Nambu) are already confirmed by Biz Team / KT Branch Leaders; the remaining 188 are open.

A book is completed through the Master's own hands.

Memory Does Not Wait

Our mothers, fathers, grandmothers are standing on the hill of eighty. The memories still vivid today will, one day, grow dim — and without someone to receive them, they vanish.
