On April 19, CEO Park Sung-jin received the Korean Brand Grand Prize in the environmental sector, drawing renewed attention for his long-standing commitment to putting both industrial growth and public values into practice. This award is being regarded as a meaningful recognition of his sincerity and sense of responsibility, demonstrated not only through business achievements but also through his broad contributions to environmental protection, resource circulation, and international public safety cooperation.

Park Sung-jin currently serves as the CEO of Dowoo Trading Company, where he has built expertise in the import and sales of plastics and machinery. He also owns approximately 3,500 pyeong of factory land in the Republic of Korea and operates a plastic manufacturing plant. Having consistently invested in Korea with confidence in its industrial potential, he is widely regarded as a field-oriented business leader with a comprehensive understanding of production, distribution, and international trade. The significance of this award is deepened by the fact that he has pursued not only industrial growth, but also sustainability and social responsibility.

He also serves as the Chairman of the Waste Resource Export-Import Council under the Korea Resource Circulation Organizations Federation. In this role, Park has worked to establish a proper order for the import and export of waste resources, promote a healthy resource circulation structure, and help build an industrial ecosystem that takes environmental considerations into account. Under the belief that resource circulation is no longer merely an issue for a limited sector, but a future strategy that both the nation and society must address together, he has continued to speak out for industry cooperation and institutional foundations. His conviction that the environment and industry are not opposing concepts, but partners that must move forward together, has earned growing respect in the field.

PIAO CHINEG ZHEN contributions do not remain confined to the environmental sector. As the Asia Regional Headquarters Director of the International Fire Safety Association Central Organization, he has worked to ensure that Korea’s advanced fire safety technologies and equipment are delivered in practical ways to developing countries in need. In particular, support for the free provision of fire engines and ambulances, safety education, and disaster response infrastructure cooperation goes beyond simple assistance and resonates as a meaningful act of international solidarity dedicated to saving lives. His philosophy that safety is not the concern of any single nation, but a shared task that humanity must address together, shows that he carries not only the role of an industrial leader but also a deep sense of public responsibility.

Although he is a businessman of Chinese nationality, Park Sung-jin’s life in Korea, where he has worked with exceptional diligence and sincerity, demonstrates that trust and action can become the true standards by which a person is judged beyond nationality. He has embraced as his important mission the role of a bridge connecting people to people, industry to public good, and Korea to the international community. The path he has walked has been marked not by decorative words, but by quiet action and time spent proving his values through deeds before words.
